About
A lean, long-legged hound shaped from pale gold light, edges feathering into the air like a drawing not quite finished. It runs a fixed circuit through the ruins on silent paws, and when it finds something that should not be there, it points — and then it is teeth all the way through.
The guardians of the Sanctum wove watch-hounds out of prayer and lamplight to walk the cloisters at night. The hounds survived the fall better than their masters: they still run every route on the old schedule, past doors that no longer stand, saluting wardens who no longer answer. They judge trespassers the only way a good dog can — anyone the masters did not introduce is not a friend.
