About

A drifting column of grey ash held in a vaguely human shape, lit from within by sullen orange coals where a heart and eyes should be. It moans on the hot wind and sheds a constant fall of soot.

When the waste's firestorms catch the living, some are too bitter to move on, lingering as wraiths of ash and ember. They cannot bear the warmth of life and hurl gouts of cinder at anything that still breathes, hoping to drag company into the cinders with them.
