About

A soft, hovering orb of cold flame — pale blue-white and strangely beautiful — casting flickering shadows as it bobs through the gloom. It makes no sound, and where it leads, bones tend to gather.

A will-o'-wisp is the malevolent spark of something that died in fear and despair, feeding on the terror of the living. It drifts ahead like a lantern of false rescue, luring the lost ever deeper into bog and ruin, then jolts them with crackling light until their dread is ripe to harvest.
