About
A towering, well-armored skeleton with its bones bound by cold blue light. It carries a blackened oath-blade and turns with the silent patience of a guard still waiting at his gate.
The Barrow King is the Warden of the Barrowmound, bound to the first Crown Shard when Caelmor fell three centuries ago. The grave-robbers broke the old seals and woke him; they did not create his prison. He is not their master and does not command the creatures on the road. He still guards the post he swore to keep, and the shard holds him there.
